Who are we ?
We are an Elim Pentecostal Church based in North East Wales being kindly supported by City Church in Liverpool.
How did it start ?
Living Waters Community Church North East Wales started off as a call to plant a church, which was given to Pastor Howard Roberts back in Spring 2006. After prayer a small group of people came together and a number of Worship meetings took place. The church began to hold regular Sunday afternoon family services on June 24th 2007. Since then we have grown and God is blessing us as a church.
The Church is built on two scriptures:
- Isaiah: 61 which talks about rebuilding and the restoration of peoples’ lives and homes
- John 7:38 which talks about believing in Jesus bringing new life to people
About Pastor Howard Roberts
Howard was born in Prestatyn and has lived in North East Wales most of his life. He has worked in manufacturing and was called out of this industry to go to Regents Theological College in 2004. In 2006 he graduated with a degree in theology. Howard is grounded in mission and has gained experience in working in other countries including Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Peru. He now has many years of leadership experience having served as part of a leadership team in a local A.O.G. church. After ministerial training Howard serves under Liverpool City church teaching English and now pioneers Living Waters Community Church.
